Looking for help

Hi Everyone.

I am hitting brick wall after brick wall.

What I need right now is some really kind person to do a look up for me in the UK.

I need to find out my Great Grandfather's mother's maiden name. I have two possibilities and it is frustrating the bejeebers outta me trying to figure out which is the right one.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

I am very financially strapped and unable to pay for much.

Thanks

Lorie

When I started with Squidoo in 2007, I decided to start researching these photos. The only info I had to go on was a mug from my dad's squadron,… Continue

1911 UK Census

With all the hype over the introduction of the 1911 Census into the public domain via findmypast.com, I, like many others, have been so disappointed to find that access to that Census data is at a cost. Already a subscribing member to that site hosting the 1911 Census, I had thought that my not inconsiderable subscription would include access to that census. Not so! - I would still have to pay to view.
For some, perhaps this additional cost is immaterial in the light of the extra information it… Continue
